BioShield isn't a scent, a "blend," or a vibe. It's the actual engineering answer to a question most natural deodorants never bothered to ask: how do you eliminate odor without blocking sweat or drowning it in perfume?

What it is

BioShield™ is a zinc-based, multi-active deodorant system, the technology inside Zaffré's Core, Max, and Sensitive. "Multi-active" is the operative word: instead of one ingredient carrying the entire load, several actives work in parallel on different points of the odor process, which is what gives the formula depth under heat and long days.

How it works

Body odor is a chemical event, bacteria on your skin break down compounds in your sweat into smaller, smelly molecules. BioShield acts on that event at the source. Zinc ions help convert those malodorous molecules into larger, non-volatile compounds that can't reach your nose, and reduce the bacterial activity that produces them in the first place. The result is odor eliminated where it forms, not covered after the fact.

What it isn't

• Not an antiperspirant. No aluminum, no plugged sweat glands. You sweat normally; you just don't smell.
• Not baking soda. The leading cause of natural-deodorant irritation is engineered out of every BioShield formula.
• Not a fragrance cover-up. It doesn't mask, it eliminates at the source.

The formulas that run on it

Three formulas share the BioShield engine, tuned to different skin. Core is the everyday standard. Max is the same system in a richer, multi-oil base, the premium daily. Sensitive is magnesium-free and works with your skin's own chemistry, which is why it suits reactive skin and carries our 0% irritation result.
